In this day and age of immediate information being available at anyone’s fingertips, it would make sense that you would be concerned about how to improve your online reputation and be able to manage your reputation if it’s less than desirable.
Do you realize just how popular it is to use an internet search engine such as Google to find out about someone’s reputation? Did you know:
- Most hiring managers and HR departments use search engines to research applicants?
- Men and women Google each other when they first begin dating?
- Colleagues at your company and companies you partner with look for information about you on Google and use that information to make judgements upon you?
HR Departments, prospective clients and yes even the opposite sex are using internet technology to find out about your online reputation. What if there is some content out there that isn’t exactly flattering to your online reputation? How are you going to defend your reputation?
Forget about yourself for a minute. This goes as far as college admission offices using the internet to find out about your child’s online reputation. Ok, now are you sure there is absolutely nothing out in cyberspace that could harm your child’s chances of getting accepted to his/her dream school?

If you are an avid reader of the Kensavage.com site then you may have noticed a period of time when the site was not up and running. Basically it got hacked. DDOS via ssh for about 3 weeks and they eventually took it down. Once it was down it was exploited and a got access to the site somehow.
Whatever it’s locked down tight now and I want to thank the guys at the best web hosting company out there Steadfast Networks.
Without warning our site was taken down for a few days from a sucker punch to our server. I’m here to tell you that we were down but not out!
There was an attempt made on the life of our server. It is with much chagrin that I must tell you that this hack into our server hit us with the old one two. We were stunned and our legs buckled for a little bit. Hey, it happens.
But we have finally gotten back up, put our mouth piece back in, and we’re ready to head back out there.
Ding! We’re coming out fighting tougher and more exciting than a Micky Ward fight.
