Saturday, September 16th Ben Savage passed away at Memorial Hospital in Canton, Ohio at 10:47 pm. Savage was in a fatal accident sending him into a coma which he did not awake.
Ben best known as Corey Matthews from the comedy sit com Boy Meets World was intoxicated during the accident which ultimately prevented his recovery. Rest In Peace Ben Savage, “Corey Matthews” You will be greatly missed.

Noooo it’s not true. He did not die in a drunk driving accident. It is just another internet spread celebrity death hoax, this one spread primarily via the MySpace social networking site. Ben’s manager has assured the media that Ben Savage is alive and well.
Supposedly, Ben, who is also the younger sibling of “Wonder Years” lead Fred Savage, was driving when he crashed his car, went into a coma, and passed away. In reality, the actor is alive and well and possibly nursing bitter feelings toward his older bro, who always scores a mention in Ben’s write-ups, and was never rumored to have prematurely kicked the bucket.

I heard that myspace rumor about Ben Savage alledgedly dying in Canton, Ohio and I felt horrible not only because I’m a fan but also because Canton is only about 45 minutes from my home. But I can happily report that the rumor is completely false! That’s what I believe and it would be quite easy for me to take my mothers medical ids and drive to that memorial hospital in canton and find out in the hospitals achieves if the rumor is true, but I’m not going to waste my time because I know if that happened we would have seen it somewhere on “E” or “CNN”. Look at all the coverage “Anna Nicole Smith” is getting for goodness sakes.
I love Boy meets World!! I was so crushed wen i heard about it. I thought he was really gone! there are many eulogy’s about him, and they also include a day and time.
but also, i have to wonder why this hasnt reached the media yet. if a famous actor like him died, im sure the publicity would be all over. but they do include very detailed things about his death so whos to say its a rumor. i say if he is alive then he should send out a statement so fans like me or you can know for sure if hes actually gone, instead of sitting around while the world is sad that “cory matthews” is dead.
