Two of those who saw it described it to me independently, one of them saying it was “shocking.” It is of Jackson, his eyes wide open, lying on his back on a metal autopsy table. The picture is of Jackson’s head only, and taken from the corpse’s left side, from someone who was standing, and at about a 30-degree angle toward the body.

The front of the pop star’s skull is shaved. His ashen face is stripped of any makeup. The lips are flat and wide, but without lipstick. A scar, which he had hidden under makeup whenever he went out, is visible on his left check. His tattooed eyebrows are the only other visible mark on his face.

One executive who saw it, although not a professional photographer, told The Daily Beast that he was certain it was “not a cellphone picture. The quality was far too good.”

The documents could not be obtained Tuesday by The Associated Press and Brown’s attorney Phaedra Parks declined to comment.

Whitney Houston, 43, had asked in her separation papers that she be granted custody of the couple’s 13-year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina, and that Bobby Brown, 37, be allowed visitation rights.

The couple wed in 1992, with Houston at the height of her fame as a Grammy-winning superstar known for such hits as “I Will Always Love You.”

Brown won acclaim for his gritty R&B songs as a one-time member of the boy band New Edition.

During their marriage, Brown was arrested for drugs and alcohol and Houston entered drug rehabilitation programs twice.

In an attempt to clean up her public image, Houston stepped out last month for an event in Beverly Hills with cousin
Dionne Warwick and mogul Clive Davis, with whom she is working on a new album.

Brown, who also has two teenage children with a Massachusetts woman, recently paid up to $11,000 in delinquent child support after being threatened with arrest two weeks ago if he stepped back into the state.

Brown’s attorney has said he was having a “very difficult” time due to the separation initiated by Houston.

This validation of ringtones by Billboard as marketable media merchandise puts to rest any of those hopes that cell phone ringtones are just a passing fad. Even harder to find are the cool ringtones everyone is looking for these days.

Ringtones are here to stay, and their spread is on the rise, thanks to the latest development in ringtone technology, “real tone,” which uses MP3 and Real Music technology to create tones with quality sound.

“The latest popular ringtones sound just like songs you’d hear on the radio,” says Mark Regan, 26, of Nashua, “They are like mini-versions of MP3s.”

Ringtones have indeed come a long way from the original monophonic tones from the late 1990s.

When cell phones first exploded onto the market, they came with a small choice of basic sounding tones that emitted one note at a time. These original tones were short and simple, before ringtones were downloadable.

In 2003, the polyphonic tone hit the market, sounding more like actual music with multiple notes played simultaneously.

With the dawn of polyphonic ringtones and downloadable tones, the market for popular ringtones took off.

Today, ringtone sales account for 10 percent of the global music market and are quickly overtaking CD sales. The Billboard list indicates that the ringtone industry is set to enjoy a long ride on the high-demand consumer wagon.

People have now begun to treat their cell phones similarly to their MP3 players or iPods, downloading all of the songs or tones they like and switching them frequently according to mood or occasion.

“I download every song I like as a ringtone,” says Regan, “Right now I have ‘Hotel’ by R. Kelly playing, but I change it every three or four days.”

It is consumers like Regan that have boosted mobile-phone ringtone sales into a multibillion dollar industry.

With the youth culture’s stamp of approval, ringtones are now a must have item to project a hip image and have become the trendiest way to make a personal statement.

Recently, there has been an increase in the number of ringtone service providers available. Most offer free stuff with a subscription, like games, wallpapers and bonus tones..

With so many options available, there’s plenty of impulse buying.

“I’m addicted to downloading,” says Regan, “Each song I get is $2.50, but I keep buying more every time I hear a new good song. I have about 15 of the most popular ringtones on my phone right now.”

I personally am a big fan of the newest Amy Winehouse Album Back To Black which was actually released back in 2006. I even have Amy Winehouse ringtones on my phone. Her style is different from any of the other music you are hearing today.

Back To Black is the follow up to the previously released Frank which I’m not as crazy about. For some reason it just didn’t speak to me the way that Back To Black does.

I think one of the things that is so apparent when listening to the Amy Winehouse album Back To Black is the fact that she keeps it real when it comes to her troubles and emotions.

Amy Winehouse’s Back To Black album does seem to have a common theme throughout all of the songs. It seems that Amy Winehouse is honestly telling a story about her struggle to change her destructive patterns when it comes to relationships not only people but also drugs and alcohol.

When listening to The Back To Black album you can hear that her struggle with these issues constantly ebbs and flows. Sometimes Amy Winehouse seemed to be on top of things whereas other songs painted a picture of someone repeating destructive habits as in the song You Know I’m No Good where she sings: I cheated myself like I knew I would, I told ya I was trouble, You know that I’m no good.

Helplessly Watching

Unfortunately with drug and alcohol addiction all people can do is helplessly watch the downward spiral until the addict decides that it is time to get some help. There is really no forcing the type of rock-bottom that one needs to hit before they begin repairing themselves.

We have seen the same type of story over and over again. People that are so talented and touch so many lives with their music but who are so inwardly tortured that they slowly kill themselves with drug and alcohol abuse.

As we know the list could go on and on but I really didn’t want to bum anyone out more than I had too. The point of me listing those names is to show that usually drug addiction such as Amy Winehouse’s does not end well.

Amy Winehouse: Rehab

It seems that in Amy Winehouse’s song Rehab she pretty much made it clear that she does not think that she needs to go to rehab. She believes that all she needs is her music and she will be able to heal herself. It is that type of addictive thinking that is a red flag warning that Amy Winehouse is an addict.

Her brain is telling her that even though she is repeating the same destructive behaviors over and over again that maybe she will end up with a different outcome than she has already. This is the definition of addictive thinking.

As I have already stated in this article I’m a huge Amy Winehouse fan and if I could wish anything for her it would be that she has one moment of clarity which allows her to realize that she needs to get help, her way isn’t working. She has all the resources she just needs to want the help. Good luck to her.

The White Stripes single Icky Thump is the first single to be released off of their soon to be dropped album also titled Icky Thump. This release will mark the sixth White Stripes album to be released. Icky Thump is a much anticipated album for White Strip fans since the group was on a self proclaimed hiatus.

The White Stripes reported that they will be releasing the album “as soon as corporately possible” but sources outside of the group are stating that June 19, 2007 is the definite Icky Thump release date for the United States. I’m already looking for some new White Stripes freeringtones and I’ll let you know if I find any decent sites for it.

The White Stripes Icky Thump is said to provide everything from arena rock, to spoken word, to the blues. Icky Thump includes bagpipes and trumpet from a previously unknown Latin musician into the mix. What listeners might notice is no piano this time around. This is quite a difference from the plethora of piano we heard on the last White Stripes album titled Get Behind Me Satan.

When will you be able to see White Stripes in concert? Well that depends on where you live. The White Stripes will be touring this Summer. You can check out the White Stripes site directly for White Stripes tickets.
