Google Hurdles Scores – Have You Played This Yet?

The Google Hurtles game is great. So you’ve probably seen the new Google Doodle up now. What’s your best Google Hurtles score? Google has created a new hurdling mini-game as its latest Google Doodle. The fully-playable game is the search engine’s latest doodle in celebration of the London 2012 Olympic Games.

Visitors to the Google homepage see the usual logo replaced with a YouTube-style play button. After pressing it, tapping the left and right cursor arrows makes the pictured cartoon hurdler accelerate, and pressing the space bar makes him jump the on-screen hurdles. Athletes who miss-time their jumps knock the hurdles over and slow themselves down, as in the real event.

What’s your fastest record time in the Google Hurdles?

So what’s your secret and how are you hacking this new Google Hurdles game so you can get the best score possible?

        (works with windows only)
Save the text file to your desktop, and change the file extension to vbs, and open up a web browser, go to google, minimise it, or put it to the side, then double click on the *.vbs file from earlier (don’t worry if nothing opens), and then click back into your web browser within 2 seconds, and click on the google logo.
