Hack Your PSP
Will some sort of Sony crackdown start taking place soon? Ahhh, I tend to doubt it myself. Sony is not nearly as hyper-paranoid as other gaming console companies are these days.
Less than two weeks after Sony released its long-anticipated PlayStation Portable (PSP), a hand held gaming device with multimedia capabilities, the device’s most ardent fans began spreading details about their successful hacks. Among the more ingenious: Web browsing additions, instant-message chats, and TiVo-recording playbacks.
The PSP is already a strong seller in that short timeframe. Reviews of the multi-function device are almost universally positive, and with the heavy overlap between hardcore geeks and hardcore gamers, it seems a natural fit for hacker interest to run high. What’s more, the unit comes with 32MB of memory, music and movie playing capabilities and built-in WiFi access, meaning it offers plenty of tools for hackers to play with.

Actually, if you have 2.0 or above, there really isn’t any need to, the web browser function has exactly the same effect.

i tried that web connection trick but it keeps saying latest version already installed and i dont no how to make wat eva it is dat yer saying come up……. also sony is now cracking down on hackers sony is secretly making a version of the psp and if u try to put illegal hacks the psp will shut off and the encoding on your psp will be destorted……. this is why psp is waiting to see if hackers actually hack the psp version of 2.6 in which sony put a fireware installment on so that hackers wouldnt be able to hack……. i will let you in on a secret……. i have found a site were u actually can run a full homebrew program on the psp and have a 2.6 version the secret doesnt lie in hacking and fooling the psp system to hack it….. what you do is simple……. you download the program “e-loader”…….this program enables you to run homebrew not through the system but through a game and its save file……. so wat yer basically doin is using the games encoding to over shadow the homebrew encoding……. the only problem is that you need a certain game and that certain game is grand theif auto…… since grand thief auto has en e-boot encoding within the game(its the reason why grand thief auto is the most hacked game and has the most game codes and cheats)…….. my friend and i are hack wizards and we still havent got the “e-loader” program working fully….. the problem is that somtimes the program freezes…….. i havent yet gotten all the emulators and roms to work on the “e-loader” program yet but im working on it……. to find e-loader go to http://www.dl.qj.net and you should find the e-loader program download it and then follow the instructions in the read-me text…………anymore questions e-mail me at gunntims0103@aol.com……. i would like to here of any of your tips en tricks for the psp en ask me any questions you have …………… thank you your friend……………….THE HaCkEr

people i have also found a new eciting hack for the psp…… a couple of my buddies got together and came up with a program called x5……… i wrote some encoding for this program and work with some groups to come up with this hack…….. now there have been rumors of being able to run a psp form of microsoft on your psp called (psp micro) let me tell u….. if u think this get ready to be disappointed cause there definitlly isnt or at leats i havent seen it……… so we all came together and came up with x5 which is a psp form of MAC or (apple)for your psp…….. i still have to work out some bugs like the itunes folder isnt compleatly working or the iphotos……………..but the greatest thing about x5 is that you have aim (instant messenging) on it so thats good…….go to http://www.psphacks.net/content/view/425/2/…….any further questions e-mail me at gunntims0103@aol.com…….thank you………. your friend………THE HaCkEr

ok,well of course to have the chat u have to have internet. go to ur internet icon and press x and go to file then address entry on the internet bar and type AIMonPSP.com. You will have to have an aim s/n which you can get one free here,www.aim.com. Then you will see on ur screen new connection. type a name for it and then select scan. Choose the strongest signal which will probably only work if at or above 20%. Then Once it picks up a connect, Push the Right Direction Key to go to the next menu. choose easy for adress settings and then keep pressing the right arrow till it says save. press x on ur network connection and ur done!

I have been looking for some time now and i have found that no website can create a downgrade for version 2.71 to version 2.6 or less. it pisses me off but i have to stick with my crapy huge stack of games so i recommend that if you are looking for a downgrade…dont keep looking you will never find one

hey ken, i wanna downgrade so i can play games and use all those hacks on the internet , they let u do a lot of stuff for that 1.5 version but after sony knew about that people can hack in the psp and stuff , thy tried to make unhackable in all those new versions.
and thanks for the tip john but i have insurance on my psp and i only bought three month ago so i can put 1.5v on my new psp and i managed to download that version from the internet so if anyone know about that insurance policy let me know how many times can i trade it because i have insurance for a year.

Hello i have i idea hackers you no the psp game code
for loco roco (or any other psp demos that work with
2.70+) and re type it in c++ (or what ever can write
psp demo games) and see if it works and from there work out what sony did to make it work on psp version 2.70+ ok see if that works maby this will work.

, and when you finally find something, make sure that is is good or you might have a change on brikking your psp :@
And by the way, a connection is not only working on your psp when you are outside, it depends on your neighbours or company’s in YOUR OWN surrounding arrea and on how strong the signals are 
:P (With the wright hardware in your desktop, or most laptops today that we buy, you can also create these type of connections:P)
I sugest that instead on searching for forums, wich are very good & helpfull by the way, but that you search, on what’s new for the psp.
Because every time when i read a forum, i notice that most of them are going about the question: “how can i hack my PSP”, and when the answer is finally given to them, the most will ask: “How will i install it, cause it won’t work.
Well, it’s all aboutr READING!! Sometimes it will take a wile before you understand something, but if you take your time for it , you will notice, that is pretty easy actually
And about downgrader, if the one for your firmware is not yet available, well you will just have to be patient
And about the free connection, pff not new, sony was actually promoting their psp, mostly based on their FREE wireless connection, which allows you to connect to your own account, and when you try to connect, you can also choose to let your psp search open connections in the surrounding area and which you can acces, if there is no lock on it(Cause it’s based on a 802.11g network), but that key can also easely be cracked:P(cannot crack keys with your psp by the way:P) Your wireless lancard needs a prism3 chipset for instance, to preform a WEP-Key Crack

hi i jus wanted to say all u people are wasting your times on all of these downgrader folders from the net i would suggest you get something known as “pandoras battery” it is available online and is on sale in most black markets so i suggest you give up looking for sollutions to ur downgrading problems using the old folder and software option and use pandoras battery all the tutorials are on youtube and all folder to make your own are also available for download and could save you a lot of money as the pandoras battery is also an unbricker which alows you to unbrick your psp using the pandoras battery which is very usefull as if you have previously downgraded your psp and have bricked it you can now use it again so dont think might aswell bin it DNT do that its a waste of time effort and money so i advise you to get PANDORAS BATTERY OR MAKE ONE
