What Says Perfect Mothers Day Gift Better Than CNN?
I was taking a look at some Mothers Day gift ideas on line and something caught my eye. CNN is asking for the public to fill out an online form giving examples of why you think the mother you would like to honor on Mothers Day is special and also asks that you upload some photos or video of said mother. Your entry could possibly be featured on Mothers Day on CNN.
CNN isn’t the first thing I think of when I think of Mothers Day Gifts but that would be kind of a cool gift to give that special mother in your life. It would be especially great if you need to find a cheap Mothers Day gift but don’t want to give the homemade Mothers Day card that you have given for the last, oh I don’t know…29 years. The only thing I’m not real clear on is how you know if your entry will be used or not. It doesn’t tell you. So I guess you can’t have the CNN Mothers Day tribute be your only gift, unless you don’t mind doing a lot of explaining when you have the family sit around the TV to watch other people’s mothers be honored and your mother doesn’t show up. Oops.
CNN also has a page on their site that gives some Mothers Day Dinner Recipes. It it has a recipe for the main course, salad, side dish and a desert recipe. Everything you need to make a perfect Mothers Day Dinner for that special mother in your life. Who would have thought you could go to CNN.com and get all of your Mothers Day gifts out of the way?
