Boston Red Sox catcher Jason Varitek dropped his appeal today of a four-game suspension for his part in a bench clearing brawl with the New York Yankees last month. Hell I don;t blame the guy for protecting his team mates. Would be nice if the Sox pitching staff would show the same emotion.
