Peter Manfredo Jr returns to The Contender
Episode 5 saw the return of Peter Manfredo Jr to the Contender gym. And immediately the West team went to work to see which fighter would get a chance to hand Manfredo Jr. a second loss. But first they spent a little time celebrating Sergio Mora’s win in the previous episode with a poker game with Antonio Tarver. Peter emerged victorious over Miguel Espino in five rounds of intense boxing action.

I was never really a boxing fan…then I started to watch the contender….and couldnt stop…due to Peter……He is a true warrier with a huge heart…..I WILL CHEER 4 HIM TO THE END!!!!!

Peter is da best fighter in da contender and he deserves 2 win, he has a huge heart and i will be supporting him 2 da end and he wont lose because he is da best fighter and most talented boxer. he will go a long way.
even if he doesnt win (even though he will) we all will still be by your side.

Peter is still the man even though he lost to Sergio. Im from providence RI myself and i work with Peters manager. Hes still a great fighter despite his two losses. From what i seen, stallone wants a rematch because i believe they all really wanted to see peter win. But it seemed Sergio was the better conditioned for this fight and i hope to see a rematch in the future. After all, Peter did beat Alfonso the 2nd time…

peter is the best boxer i never liked boxing till i saw him and his loving family he has a big heart but that asshole sergio kept hugging him thye entire time. i REALLY wanted him to win . His daugher just made me want to win more .TO me peter won and is the contender.

I watched the contender from the start, i wasnt really into boxing until i watched this show. from the start something about peter manfredo jr jumped out at me. he seemed a honest,hard working caring man with a beautiful family behind him. when he was defeated by alfonzo gomez i was gutted and it didnt seem right. to my amazement peter got a second chance and the heat was back on. i watched the series intensively and i knew peter had it in him to fight back and he did, down went migel, joey and then alfonzo ( that fight had me on the edge of my seat). the showdown hasnt been shown in the uk yet and because i am going on my hols, i cheated and went on the contender website to find out the result. the result was a shocker, i felt gutted yet again. but deep down i feel peter was the real contender ( i think alot of people felt that too) and i feel that if there were 12 rounds rather than 7, i believe peter manfredo jr would be the one walking away with the $1m. keep going peter, you have a heart of gold, you have a massive fan club and we want to see you reach the top.

I have always thought bowing matches were boring , until i saw the Comtender and PETER MANFREDO , i herd a rumour that he lost in the final so i checked it out on the internet and fount out it was true , i havent seen the fight yet, but i no and think evryone does no that PETER MANFREDP shud get another shot and i wud just hate it if i was never to hear of MANFREDO again .

since the first episode of the contender my fella and was hooked. some great fighters have cum and gone, jesse, ishe, alfonso. but the best is still left.. PETER! I really hope he wins he is supereb. good luck pete!

Peter, im only 13 years old and you are the best fighter i have seen on tv and i think i have fallen in love with you lol!!! I watched the final and when i heard that u came second i burst into tears because i really wanted you to win for your family!! i think that your little girl is sssssssooooooooo cute and she looks just like you!!!! I think that re-match was a f****** joke peter well won sergio never stood a chance there’s some real problems going on with the scorecards and the people that marked them r a bunch of arse licking dirty shits!!! sergio ur a poof !! peter you are the best boxer in the world i think u should accept the ramatch against sergio he is an asshole he thinks he is all that just because he beat YOU (the best of all) im into boxing myself im in a boxing gym i think that if you knocked out SCOTT PEMBERTON you can beat sergio like you beat ALFONZO the only thing you have to do is BE THE MAN WITH THE BIGGEST HEART IN THE RING because sergio’s strategy is that even if you are really hurting him he is never going to show you that it actually hurts so you just have to keep giving it your all even if it seems it is not working
