An Easy Way To Improve Your Online Reputation
In this day and age of immediate information being available at anyone’s fingertips, it would make sense that you would be concerned about how to improve your online reputation and be able to manage your reputation if it’s less than desirable.
Do you realize just how popular it is to use an internet search engine such as Google to find out about someone’s reputation? Did you know:
- Most hiring managers and HR departments use search engines to research applicants?
- Men and women Google each other when they first begin dating?
- Colleagues at your company and companies you partner with look for information about you on Google and use that information to make judgements upon you?
HR Departments, prospective clients and yes even the opposite sex are using internet technology to find out about your online reputation. What if there is some content out there that isn’t exactly flattering to your online reputation? How are you going to defend your reputation?
Forget about yourself for a minute. This goes as far as college admission offices using the internet to find out about your child’s online reputation. Ok, now are you sure there is absolutely nothing out in cyberspace that could harm your child’s chances of getting accepted to his/her dream school?
Hmmm?

I came across this company called Reputation Defender that offers some really excellent services in the arena of improving your online reputation.
The basic idea is pretty simple. Search all forms of online content for anything that refers to you, present any findings to you, help you understand what type of content could be damaging to your online reputation, what could be removed to help improve your online reputation and get removed the content that you have decided on.
Most individuals need ReputationDefender’s products, yet they might not know it.
So if improving your online reputation seems so easy, why have Reputation Defender do it? Well, the internet is a very big place. The people at Reputation Defender are professionals and they have gotten the art of searching for YOU down to a science.
Reputation Defender uses proven techniques to get undesirable content about you removed which will have a positive effect on improving your online reputation.
Along with their search and destroy tactics, they also have an online reputation monitoring service that they offer. This service monitors the internet and as soon as something involving you is detected, you are notified. It is then up to you to decide whether or not you think this information needs to be removed.
One thing about Reputation Defender that stood out to me was their “My Child” package. This is where you can have the internet scoured for your child’s information. Once something is found, you have access to view the information and decide if it warrants removal.
To me, ensuring that your child’s online reputation remains sparkling clean is going to be just as important to their future as a good credit report will be. It is our job as a parent to find ways to improve our child’s online reputation.
So, I say check out Reputation Defender and see what they can offer for you or your child. Remember, they are experts at improving your online reputation and in my opinion they are worth every penny.

This is a very good subject you bring to light. Especially if you’re in business, whether on or off line. The public is more techno savvy these days and use the internet much much more than 10 years ago. A couple years ago when Overture still had their inventory search engine available, one could check to see how often their name was being searched on the Overture network (google didn’t belong to it). It was amazing how often my own name was being searched! If you’ve left comments on blogs and forums, the spiders WILL find them. Thanks for listening. Cheers! David Tinney
