How to solve a rubik’s cube
I have never been able to solve a Rubik’s cube. Let me start out by saying that I was never into the Rubik’s cube when I was younger.
Just like everyone else that buys a Rubik’s cube, mine came with directions on how to solve the Rubik’s cube. Let’s just say when I read the Rubik’s cube directions I felt as if my IQ was lower than the average person.
For some reason I was not able to apply what I was reading in the Rubik’s cube directions to the actual Rubik’s cube in any way that got me closer to solving the Rubik’s cube. Does this mean I’m stupid? Possibly. Or it could just mean that I needed to SEE how it was done.
Where Do I Start?
Anyone who knows anything about the Rubik’s cube will tell you that you always start off with the green cross. This means that you align the green tiles on one side to resemble…you guessed it, a cross. That seems easy enough but it is really important that you also align the green/other color tiles correctly.
Am I Doing This Right?
The way to tell that you are on the right track to solving the Rubik’s cube is if when you have completed the green top side you also have a T of the same color tiles on each of the 4 sides of the Rubik’s cube. You will have a white, yellow, red and orange T and this is how you will know that you are on the right track.
Easy Right?
No…not at all. At least not for me. The tricky part is once it is time for you to start the blue bottom side, that you don’t screw up what you have already done. You will have to keep moving the tiles and if you are not careful…you are going to eff up all of the work that you have done on the other colors.
My advice is to watch a video of someone solving the Rubik’s cube. I don’t consider this cheating because even watching someone do it…it’s not easy.

Wow, that still looks hard. It would probably help if I had a Rubiks Cube in my hand as I was watching the video though. Awesome video!

Just want to say to Robert who left the last comment the following:
It must be very frustrating for you since you are too stupid to learn how to solve a rubiks cube. I learned how to do it in the 5th grade with the help of a book and figured it out on my own. My question is did your teacher teach you those big curse words in school? Those are big fancy words my friend. You must have to have a doctor’s degree to be able to use big four letter words that start with an “F.” I’m sure all the other readers are really impressed with your huge vocabulary also.
