5 Reasons Why I Like To Blog

Ken and I met Li Evans while at SES NY and it seems that we have been tagged to write a “5 Reasons Why I Like To Blog” meme. So, here goes.

  1. I Have a Lot to Say – For anyone who doesn’t know, I stay home with my 4 year old son. He is getting pretty tired of hearing my rants since he usually doesn’t understand what it is I’m talking about. Writing a Blog lets me get out all of those opinions I have to people that are old enough to know what the hell it is I’m saying. It’s perfect.
  2. I Now Understand What My Husband Is Talking About – I myself am pretty new to blogging, where my husband has been into it for a long time now. Prior to me getting into blogging he would go off on these tangents using lingo that I wasn’t familiar with. My eyes would slowly glaze over as I put in my usual “really?”, “oh wow”, “that’s cool” fillers into the conversation. But now we can actually have a conversation about it.
  3. I Enjoy Writing – I always have enjoyed writing for as long as I can remember. English Comp classes, Term papers, even book reports. Now I can write daily and make a little cake at the same time.
  4. I Love People’s Comments – One of the things that I enjoy most is writing a post and having someone comment directly on what I am writing. I even love the not so nice comments. When someone challenges me about my topic of choice or my writing style I say “bring it on.”
  5. I Stay On Top of Everything Current – Since I am trying to blog about things that are pretty current and relevant, I find that I am really knowledgeable now about current events. Kensavage.com doesn’t deal with just one subject matter so I have to try and stay on top of, well…everything.

Now I’m going to tag 5 unsuspecting folks who haven’t been tagged yet:
