XBOX 360 slim is better (12 reasons), why?:

1)Include last generation CXGPU like a sandy bridge intel
2) Better graphic rendering, unified shaders, handle more memory, and band widht than ps3 GPU.
3) DVD ROM loads very fast games, seconds not minutes that blueray.
4) Low energy consumption and zero heat and fan noise than ps3.
5) PC based, low problem games execution and releases.
6) Multicore CPU like that moderm PC's gamers standars.
7) Games online with dedicated servers around the world.
8) Last techonology in motion capture all body, without controllers.
9) Best Controller handler.
10) 5 years of improvements, nothing compared with the first console version.
11) Dashboard interaction amazing, menus, content, controls and options better.
12) Native integration with PC.

Ok.
1.a bluray disk drive makes very little difference most games are smaller than 9gb and fit just fine on a normal disc.(by the time games out grow this size both sony and microsoftwill have put out newer and more powerful consoles)
2. The Xbox hands down has better online services and offers many other multimedia types and games throuhgh the xbox marketplace.
3. Although the playstation has the potential to read games of larger file size and higher quality it doesnt need to since the games are more thourohly developed and developed in higher quality for the xbox (for example call of duty black ops runs in the same resolution on both systems but runs in 30 fps on ps3 and 60fps on xbox)
4.how the fuck do you think that being able to send your console to microsoft for repair is a bad thing? What happens when your ps3 is broken do you just throw it away? Also the rrod is not a common problem and is related to over heating which the playstation is also subject to.

Skyrim is crashing the whole PS3 console because it takes up too much memory and the xbox runs it just fine...

Here bc I know you COD kiddies have no clue what a Teraflop is _______---____ A teraflop is one trillion floating point operations per second. This measure of compute capacity describes how many multiplications can be performed within one second. Computer vendors and computer resource providers typically list the computing performance of their systems in terms of the number of gigaflops (billion floating point operations per second) or teraflops achieved on standard benchmark programs, such as the LINPACK DP, TPP, and HPC benchmarks, and the SPEC integer and floating point benchmarks. The theoretical peak computing capacity is obtained by multiplying the number of processors by the clock speed of the processor by the number of floating point operations per second that processor type is capable of performing.

nope hes not...You have to install tha game onto the Xbox just to even get HD. So you have to buy extra hardware (which cost more money AND you have to pay to use XBlive) oooorrrrr you can just buy a PS3 and get HD for umm free! And the cell prossesing technology that is in the 45nm chip in the PS3 was the same type used in 3 of the worlds fatest supercomputers built by IMB in partnership with Toshiba (on the finacial end) lets see Xbox comout with anything that can X-fer 1 teraflop off data....

In no way does blu-ray make the PS3 a better gaming plattform, besides being able to store more textures, etc on one disk, or larger more detaled textures.

How ever, few games will actualle make use of this. First off, larger more detaled textures is no good as the PS3 wont be able to render them fast enough, and werry few games will actually be large enough, and contain enough variation, to make use of more space than available on an DVD. This is about production cost. In these cases, having to cange disk once and a while is no problem.

On the other side, the 12x DVD on the 360 reads data from the DVD disk faster then the PS3 manages to do from an blu-ray disk. And this is for me more important when it comes to gaming.

Are you losers still arguing what’s better? The answer is neither one of them at this point. Both consoles outlived their WOW factors and the only way to see jaw dropping games is to play on PC hardware with proper Dx 11 graphics cards. Stop wasting time and start anticipating new consoles…

PS – Before I sold my Xbox 360 and PS3 I use to give preference to PS3, it was much more fluid entertaining.

Yes single player games are great, but in our universe multiplayer trumps single player every time.

Xbox 360 is becoming obsolete, take BF3 as one example. It has to have its performance choked on Xbox because it can't run it as well as a PC or PS3.
